Ellie focuses on hosting community building events for people with eating disorders or disordered eating. Persons with eating disorders deserve honorable, respectful, whole-human treatment.. AND FUN!!
Unfortunately, the beach party never happened due to the weather. Ellie hopes to come back to this event come spring.
Ellie and friends sorted food at the local food bank Fulfill in Neptune, NJ. Fulfill provides 1 million meals per month to persons in Monmouth and Ocean County. There are 300 food pantries located in Monmouth and Ocean County. The food sorted this night went to the pantries
The first "hot girl walk" happened in Asbury Park, NJ (AP). Ellie Kelsey Nutrition and The Green Room partnered for the event. The attendees and leaders walked a 2 mile loop around AP and then came back to The Green Room to have snacks and refreshments. Music was played, laughs were had and the planning of the next event was discussed. Join us next time!
Two local body empowerment activists led the discussion with Ellie chiming in with nutrition and diet education. Experiences were shared and participants left feeling empowered.

Ellie held a networking event for providers in the area. This was one of the first in-person networking events for people in the field since Covid. Food and refreshments were served and connections were formed.
The walk was a success! There was a ton of talking, laughing and connection to others and nature. Another nature walk coming soon!
Ellie set up a pop-up snack break from in her office to help build community within her complex. There was plenty of goodies and connection! People are asking for more of these!

Ellie held a supported community brunch. Included: laughs/smiles, connection, bracelet making with glass beads, playa bowls and a conversation on perfectionism!!
During National Eating Disorder Awareness Week February 21-27, Ellie made it her goal to talk to schools about eating disorders. Ellie was able to get into Allenwood High School and talk to three classes to provide resources, educate and promote awareness. Students engaged vulnerably in discussion and continued the conversation the next day in class according to their PE teacher, Brian Nice.
Ellie was given the opportunity to have a lunch and learn for Alpha Consulting Group. The group submitted questions before the meet and Ellie answered the questions with research, science and practical tips.
